1912-1914
Adalberto Garelli patented his first two-stroke engine with two cylinders, which was included in the prototype of the “350” cc motorcycle.
1919
After the success achieved, on 25 October 1919, the Garelli Motociclette motorcycle company was founded. The first vehicle produced was the 350 cc in two different versions: the Normale da Turismo and the Raid Nord-Sud.
1946-1958
Throughout these years, the Mosquito was produced, an auxiliary engine for fitting to bike frames. It was an immediate and unprecedented success.
1959-1973
The 1950s were glorious years for the Garelli Capri, one of the scooters that played a significant role in making motorcycles popular in Italy. By contrast, the 1970s were the years of the Gulp, a motorcycle designed for a younger target group.
1976
Garelli launched its Ciclone on the market, in keeping with the trend at the time for underbone motorcycles.
2018
A new era began. Thanks to the insight of three Italian entrepreneurs, the Garelli brand made its comeback, with 100% electric scooters, motorbikes and bikes.
